Let the night stay
For I dread the morning
With its alarms and deadlines
The daily rush and clock-in times
For here in your arms I am happy
There is no rushing
No need to hurry away
Warmth and love surround me
Acceptance and no judging
Let me stay with you
Don't let morning tear this away
